While the Tour of the Unknown Coast is not officially a race we do like to record finish times for bragging rights and so that participants can compare their times with their friends and against previous years. The timing staff is made up of volunteers who each year spend nearly 10 hours at the finish line. They attempt to record accurate times but are challenged by riders who didn't install their numbers or installed them in a manner that can't be read, riders who didn't slow down at the finish or did not respond to "What's your number?" There's also the issue of riders who sign up for one distance and then ride another.
We appreciate your participation and sincerely hope that you had a great ride!
